Alfa Laval Fuel cleaning
Alfa Laval was founded on its centrifugal separator technology. Utilizing this technology, with enhanced high efficiency disc stack technology, our fuel separators can effectively remove particles, as small as sub micron, and water from fuel.
Or is it the energy savings and environmental compliance they secure? For a century, Alfa Laval has defined and pushed the boundaries for what a marine separator can achieve. Today our separators serve over 50% of the world fleet, handling both traditional and new fuels, but also lube oil, waste oil, bilge water, crankcase gas and scrubber water.
Alfa Laval Oil cleaning
Alfa Laval’s automatic, self-cleaning filtration system does more than clean your lube oil and fuel. It can increase the value of your engine, lowering operating costs and providing end users with easier and less frequent maintenance. Our Eliminator Filter combines self-cleaning filtration with advanced centrifuge technology.
Alfa Laval oil cleaning equipment effectively removes particles and water. Water and/or solid particles cause many lubrication oil supply system failures, making efficient cleaning vital where oil contamination can lead to costly production stoppages.
Alfa Laval Cleaning Services
Cleaning services for every need. Alfa Laval offers a range of Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) systems and cleaning agents, specially designed and formulated to remove deposit build-up effectively from heat transfer, separation and fresh water generator equipment. We only use carefully developed and environmentally sound chemicals. Cleaning-in-Place
We develop Alfa Laval technology by listening to you, and by witnessing your challenges first-hand through work in the field. By ensuring that you can depend on our equipment, we ensure that you can depend on your processes. Cooperation that pays off.
Alfa Laval AlfaPure
Efficient cleaning of service fluids pays off. Utilizing centrifugal separation, the Alfa Laval AlfaPure range is a series of extremely efficient systems for cleaning industrial service fluids, such as coolants, wash liquids and mineral oils.
Transforming crude oil into valuable products involves energy-intensive processes that must run continuously. To secure process uptime, depend on proven, trouble-free heat exchangers from Alfa Laval.
Alfa Laval M line
Alfa Laval M line of gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers are used for high design pressure (>10 bar/145 psi), such as in carbonated beverages, or when long plate packs are required.
For both two-phase and three-phase operation, the Alfa Laval Olive Oil X-series of decanter centrifuges is designed to provide cost-effective operation in the olive oil production chain: Clarification, extraction, dewatering and classification on first and second extraction.
- What is the Alfa Laval Oil Cleaning Module?
- The Alfa Laval Oil Cleaning Module (OCM) is a system that removes contaminants from oil, such as water and solid particles. It helps to extend equipment life and prolongs service intervals significantly. The OCM module is available as a stationary or mobile unit, to serve several tanks, and it comes with or without a heater.
- How often should I service my Alfa Laval Separator?
- Alfa Laval recommends performing an Intermediate Service every 3 - 6 months (2-4,000 hours). The service interval depends on running hours or a fixed period of time. For more details, refer to the separator manual.
- How does an Alfa Laval centrifuge separator work?
- An Alfa Laval centrifuge separator speeds up separation by 5,000 times using centrifugal force instead of just gravity. Traditional settling tanks use gravity for separation. In the Alfa Laval centrifuge separator, the high rotational velocity creates a force that presses heavy particles outwards against the separator walls.
- How does the Alfa Laval disc-stack centrifuge work?
- The Alfa Laval disc-stack centrifuge separates solid and liquid phases from each other using centrifugal force, which is 5,000 times faster than traditional settling tanks that rely on gravity alone.
- What is lube oil cleaning?
- Lube oil cleaning is in general a lenient application where the intervals can be somewhat extended. You will find the latest manuals for your OCM (Oil Cleaning Module) here. Please note that because this product range has been in operation for many years there may be slight variations in design.
