  • Seed and nut oils are something that we utilize almost in every meal that we consume in one form or another. Whether we’re using it to saute vegetables, whether we’re using it to make a salad dressing, it is a part of so many of our meals, and it needs to be a part of this conversation.
  • How are nut roasted in Australia?
  • Continuous roasting: Nuts travel through roasters continuously via a mesh conveyor system. The Australian nut industry uses both methods, with nuts usually roasted in the same oil as the nut itself. For example, oil-roasted almonds are typically roasted in almond oil. Sometimes, other unsaturated oils are used such as peanut, sunflower or canola.
